Machupicchu (2040 mt /7907 ft) is a magical destination there are few places in the world which combine in such a superb fashion the work of the ancient mankind with dramatically beautiful natural surroundings.
On our day Machu Picchu tour by train, you will enjoy an unmatched panoramic train view, going all the way of Urubamba River throughout the rain forest which surrounds Machu Picchu. Here you will enjoy the ridged snowcapped mountains and sub- tropical jungle landscape of the Peruvian Andes to the town of Aguas Calientes; you will embark of excitement trip up to Machu Picchu where you will have your guided tour of wonderful Machu Picchu.
To start our Machu Picchu Tour we will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning, we’ll travel by touristic private van to train station “Ollantaytambo” in the Sacred Valley where we’ll board our EXPEDITION TRAIN and VOYAGUER to Aguas Calientes town (1:45 hours) With beautiful scenery throughout the journey the train journey itself is an experience. Following the course of the river down the Sacred Valley you’ll arrive to Aguas Calientes town.
Once you arrive to Aguas Calientes town, our tour guide will be there to greet you and take you to the bus station to head straight up to Machu Picchu by bus (25 minutes) for your guided tour. The tour lasts for about 2 hours during which you’ll learn about the Incas and visit all the most important areas of Machu Picchu city.
Later in the afternoon you take the bus back down to the station at Aguas Calientes, where you will take the EXPEDITION train back to Ollantaytambo where a private van will be waiting for you to drive back to Cusco dropping you off at you your hotel.
When you join any of our Inca Trail tours, you’re not only walking through ancient ruins — you’re entering the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu (SHM), a protected natural and cultural heritage site. This sacred route is home to endangered species of flora and fauna, and it’s our collective responsibility to help preserve it.
